We represent members of the ALMU and the Asian lubricants industry before government bodies and play an active role in consumer education and generating awareness among user industries.
Our organisation’s goals include gaining recognition from Asian governments and their agencies as the leading authority in the region’s lubricants industry. We are also working to promote a favourable public perception of the Asian lubricants sector and are aligning ALMU with organisations that help achieve this goal.
ALMU has established a subcommittee on Governance, Best Practice and International Relations to help drive our relationships with government bodies and to advance our association. Dr. Tan Wu Meng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade, was guest of honour at the 2019 ALMU Annual Meeting & Global Leadership Summit.
We have established strong working relationships with national and international associations sharing comparable objectives such as ILMA, UKLA, UEIL, SLTA, etc.
A recent partnership with Enterprise Singapore (ESG) was designed to explore ESG funding opportunities for locally based digitalisation projects. Overseas members can also tap into the agency’s knowledge base and expert resources. Our partnership with F&L Asia Ltd, a leading publisher in the Asian fuels and lubricants industry, allows ALMU to achieve higher awareness of our activities within our target market.
